Web Data 03/09/2009, diary of a blogger:
“At this moment we are not looking for a profile like yours, too junior to be a senior copywriter but too senior to be a 2.0 stager to support our unconventional planner in the buzz marketing” ( this response is true and has just arrived in my mailbox). Please laugh… at least I will have done something useful … –
Vivenda (Tumbler blogger)

“The Tightrope walkers” A picture of precarious Italy.
Stage, Stage 2.0, unremunerated training; moonlighting; interim; parasubordinate; employment  without employer-employee relationship; co.co.co; fake contract with pauses to avoid forced recruitment, VAT opened for a single employer, redundancy payment employer, risking dismissal from employment, unemployed.

Which of these categories do you feel to be a part?

Whatever it is, this is the Italy we would like to show.
Yours like ours, the faces and the stories we tell.

Because we are the “tightrope walkers”.

Every day we find a different way to survive in an Italy that doesn’t represent us.

“The Tightrope walkers” A picture of precariously Italy is the new photographic exhibition / event Play4 * wants to launch.

Tell us a story, your story.
Your fears, your insecurities, your anger, what you had to accept and everything you still are suffering.

Without even mentioning names, you’ll explain your condition of modern-day slaves.
You will be interviewed and during your story, immortalized.
The photos, not necessarily recognizable, representation of the precarious Italy, will be exhibited together with details of the most interesting stories.

Scream with us about the discomfort of an Italy ashamed of her sufferings for the sole purpose of being able to work.

Take an active part in the exhibition and explain, to those who still pretend not to understand, that “flexibility” just means “acrobatics”. Between work and unemployment.

If you want to participate in the shooting and be interviewed by our staff, write an email to equilibristi@play4.org, leaving name, age, city and phone number.

Once established, date and place of meeting, you will be contacted. All participants will also get their beautiful shots in digital format. The collected data will be processed and stored only for purposes of present and future selections, guaranteeing all the rights of the legislative decree 196/03.

“The Tightrope walkers” A picture of precariously Italy –  is a Play4* idea.
